The main responsibilities of Jiangxi meteorologic bureau are as follows:

• Establishing local meteorological business development program and taking charge for the plan of our own political distinct,beingresponsible for the examination of the important meteorologic establishments and also supervising the climatic activity .
• Exchanging the schedule according to the plan and organizing and managing the collection and distribution of Atmospheric Sounding information,that’s our duty to protect the envionment of atmospheric sounding by laws ,otherwise managing foreign affairs in our region .

• Organizing work of associational inspect ,forecast for the most disaster weather without regionalism and departmentalism and also making approachs for the defence besides evaluating the effection of this very affairs,managing public climatic forecast ,disastrous weather prealarm ,agricultural climactic forecast ,city environmental climatic forecast ,fire insurance registered forecast etc .

• With the harmonization of the leader of the government ,making plan of artifical affection weather ,directing and organizing and implementing the work ,managing defence of thunder work,cooperating with other relevant compartments to deal with inspection of the possible attacked buildings or equipments of thunder.

• Advising some good ideas about using and protection the climaticresource,spreading the application,organizing the climatic items.

• Propagating meteorologic law ,overseeing the accomplishment of the law ,punishing if anybody obey the law,commiting the district litigation .

• Leading and managing plan and fi nance,constitution,education ,research and cultivation inour district climatic compartment,assisting the local party to work well in spiritual civilization developments and mentally political work.
